The steaming process makes the boards a little darker tan colour with a little bit of a pink hue. All rough sawn boards are sanded flat at source so each thickness is shy a couple of millimetres. Superior grade is an excellent product that can be used in many internal applications. we also keep a superior colour grade that allows colour variation on the boards. Machines and glues well and can be steam bent.
